The Mal Pelo dance company was founded in 1989, and current artistic directors are María Muñoz and Pep Ramis. It has always sought new forms of expression using the body as the vehicle.
Originally it toured Europe, the US and Latin America, as well as taking up artistic residences in several countries. This led to an interchange of ideas, techniques and methods with other creators, resulting in a new project in 2001 – Cuerpo, creación y pensamiento – a research and study centre under the leadership of Toni Cots.
This new show is a duet by the group’s directors, which after Lisbon will move to Barcelona, Girona and Mallorca.
