Reais Jogos Virtuais (RJV) incorporates dance / performance and media arts in a cross disciplinary collaboration. In a hybrid architecture, the physical and virtual spaces interact with its inhabitants, performers and audience, live with avatars. RJV discusses the environments of video games and virtual spaces of sociability, such as Second Life, its physical interface and relations with decorporalization. In this hybrid choreographic creation, live and virtual characters interact in order to communicate. Movement - both physical and virtual - imagery and sound affect each other through computer interaction systems. This interactivity between physical movement and models of mediation and virtual representation: avatars, from the idea of moving the virtual space (video game / 3D animation) to the physical space and vice versa (via motion capture).
RJV lies in thinking about the body in relation to digital technologies, particularly the adherence to video games and the real-time immersive models of communication on the Internet.
