WW is a project of artistic cooperation, programmed and directed by João Manuel de Oliveira, who joined Carlota Lagido, David Miguel and Sara Vaz, to reflect on terrorism. Trough this reflection emerged this interdisciplinary work, which crosses contemporary dance, visual arts and video, allowing a dialogue to witness our point of view about the time in which we live.
[...] We live in a culture based on the rapid consumption of images of dead people, amputees, lost culture.
Stolidly accepting the proposed simulation, in which the very i-reality of the images leads to the torpor of their acceptance.
And if choosing, creating, was a possibility? Rather than succumb to the rhythm of enchanting promises of a world in which good wins and evil loses?
WW is a celebration of our registration as modest witnesses from a time when the security used to instill fear about others...
