Departure, farewell, passage inwards our memory, our dreams, our fears, search, encounter with a double, love encounter, loss, initiation. Itinerary created by multiple poetic universes, music and plastic from different times, that meet at a certain moment.
Conceived with a scenic format, this recital for song, piano and video intends to launch new ways for the traditional recital for song and piano, questioning its limit with the remaining arts of the stage.
A singer/actress creates complicity with the images of a video / magic mirror, generator of enigmas and characters, events, atmospheres and impressions suggested by the music and by the poems of the songs that compose this programme: the impressionist atmosphere of Debussy; the emotional and intense lyricism of Poulenc - two of the greatest exponents of French melodies in the first half of the 20th century - the raw and implacable sensuality of Chagas Rosa's songs, on Plato's epigrams; the expressionism in the lieder of composers of the second school of Vienna - Schoenberg and Webern - on G.Falke’s and R. Dehmel’s poems.
