The songs that Caetano Veloso composed in exile in London are the starting point for the encounter of the body and voice of Maria de Medeiros with images by Daniel Blaufuks.

"Chantier gathers songs by Caetano Veloso and other singers with a video exhibition by Daniel Blaufuks, comprising films in super 8 format, trying to recreate the ambiance in which songs were writen, in an effort to translate its poetical into images. Maria’s voice will be accompanied not only by the musicians, but also by a visual partition of sea and sky, landscapes and cities, memories and desires."
