Artwork multiple, real opera / performance in which the public has a very active role, Nous les oeuvres d'Art, ... brings together several disciplines and languages.
The 'character' or the figure of Straatman always involves a theatrical dimension. The public perceives its manifestations and appearances as performances. Building bodies as objects, Straatman is both an actor, a work, an action and its common place. Like the "cafes", "supermarkets", "exchange houses" and other installations created by Angel Vergara in exhibitions are live and free subjects, where the presence and actions of the occupants - visitors, spectators, guests ... are the work itself. |
