- “I want to tell you a story.
- What’s your name?
- Is that important?
- Well, no one likes to talk to a face without a name.
- But you’re looking at me.
- Yes, but I still don’t know who you are!” (...)
At the beginning we had no name and it was not important, then, someone gave us one. In Setup, the public is invited to forget your own name to accept the invitation to look at what goes on stage from another point of view, from another perspective. As if the doors of perception were opened, in a game of sensations where the stage curtain is no longer there to protect us.
Perception, issues of identity, multiplicity of views and the lack of true communication are concepts that are given shape in this scenario of non-communication. The reaction of the body before a latent aggression between three men in tension and the urgency of speech ... and when the word is not enough, the body carries the only possible communication.
