The project starts from the idea of double, in the broad sense and general duplication. Part also, very specifically, the idea of dual as is described in the poem by Heinrich Heine, "Der Doppelgänger" used by Schubert and included in the set of "Lieder" - "Schwanengesang": a description of an image that 'mimics' the suffering of the subject who speaks. From this conceptual universe and imagistic, the project considers proposing forms of relationship between the elements of a score (the word and music), between the sound and production (piano, voice) between acoustic and visual images, between an performer and another performer. |
